This Cookie Policy explains what MofTab stores in your browser when you visit the website moftab.com, and — just as importantly — what it does not. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. The MofTab browser extension is covered separately in the privacy policy (see Section 9).

3. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember things between visits. This policy also covers similar technologies such as localStorage, which stores data locally in your browser in much the same way.

4. Storage We Use

moftab.com sets no cookies at all. It uses exactly one piece of local storage:

moftab-theme — a single localStorageentry that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, it identifies no one, and it is sent to no server. It exists only so the page can paint in the theme you picked, and it is removed when you clear the site's data in your browser.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records technical request logs (such as IP address and user-agent) as a normal part of serving and protecting the site. This is standard infrastructure logging, not something MofTab sets in your browser or uses to track you.

5. What We Don't Use

The list of what moftab.com deliberately avoids is longer than what it uses:

• No analytics cookies — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no analytics of any kind.
• No advertising or tracking cookies, and no behavioural profiling.
• No social media pixels — no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, nothing similar.
• No third-party embeds that could set cookies — no YouTube embeds, no social widgets, and no Google Fonts CDN. Fonts are self-hosted, so no external font service can observe you.
• No cross-site tracking of any kind.

6. Why There Is No Cookie Banner

Because moftab.com loads no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party scripts, there is simply nothing to ask your consent for. A consent banner offering to accept or decline cookies that do not exist would be theatre — it would add friction to your first impression, contradict this very policy, and make a calm site feel like a funnel. GDPR does not require consent for storage that is strictly necessary, so no banner ships.

This is a commitment, not a loophole. If MofTab ever adds analytics or any non-essential cookie, your consent will be requested before it loads — with Accept and Decline presented with equal visual weight (never a prominent Accept next to a Decline buried in small text), with granular control over what you allow, and with the ability to change your choice at any time. Until that day, there is nothing to decide.

7. Legal Basis

The single moftab-theme entry is strictly necessary for the site to work as you configured it, and storage of that kind does not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR. Nothing else is stored, so no consent is needed for anything on moftab.com.

8. Managing Your Preferences

You are always in control of the one thing stored. To remove the theme preference, clear this site's data in your browser — usually under Settings → Privacy → "Cookies and site data" (or "Site settings"), where you can view and delete what any site has stored. After clearing it, MofTab simply falls back to following your operating system's light or dark setting.

9. The MofTab Extension

This policy is about the website. The MofTab extensionis a separate thing with its own rules: it stores its settings and caches in the browser's extension storage — not in website cookies — and only ever touches your data through integrations you switch on yourself. 10. Changes to This Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
